My role as a nondenominational wedding officiant has provided me a tremendous source of gratification and pleasure through the years. Being a part of such a very special moment is a true honor and one that I absolutely love.
Since 2004, my wife Barb a proud native of the Twin Cities and I have been vacationing
during the summer months in the Nisswa and Gull Lake area. Barb came to this area each summer
with her parents when she was growing up. I have come to love this beautiful part of
Minnesota as much as she. The resorts are spectacular and the climate ideal for both
indoor and outdoor weddings.
On a personal note, I was born in York, Pennsylvania. My college education was at the University of
Arizona in Tucson. My undergraduate degree is in Social Work; I was early drawn to the helping
professions, no doubt the reason I so enjoy playing my small part in uniting loving couples.
I am married to a wonderfully creative woman who is my continual source of inspiration and
encouragement. Although not raised in a religious home, I came to my own Christian beliefs in
the early 1980s. I was raised in an exceptionally loving home by two parents who, to this day,
remain in my eyes as the epitome of what a good marriage should be. This is why I never
impose my beliefs on the couples whom I marry.
I sincerely wish you all the best that life has to offer and, once again, congratulate you on having found
the special person with whom to share your life.
